Okay...Credit One may have ridiculous terms as far as their fees and interest structures--but does anyone remember when Capital One first started issuing cards back in the mid-90's?? They had the same fee structure as Cred-1 and you paid through the nose with fees and interest for having a card with them also. I know this b/c I had one of their first cards back when they only issued straight-up Visa's and Mastercard's. AND you had to send them security deposits to get one-usually with a $300 to $500 limit.. They didn't start making unsecured cards until a few years later around 2000 when they rolled out the K-Mart M/C-I had one of those too BTW.. Now look where Cap-1 is with credit cards today!!!!. I'm kind of sorry I screwed up with them! Cred-1 might not be the most desirable card out there, but it is EXACTLY what Cap-1 was when they started 15 and 16 years ago-a rebuilder card-and might suprise everyone down the road the same way Cap-1 surprised the heck out of me! Especically now that they're (Cred-1) getting into the rewards game.
