My CSP statement shows my 7% bonus as 3497 points. I just got the card in July, 2012. Cool

How much is that? 2800 pointS/$$28?
3,500 points if you were lucky enough to get the 50k signup bonus. Those 3,500 points are worth $100+ to me, so it's a nice surprise.
Anyone know how Chase is with baddies and the CSP?

Holy cow!!! How do you make you're points worth that much?

Many people have got approved with baddies, I think it's your overall profile that matters more. for example my highest line was 4k and I had a paid CO from 2005 with Chase when I appd and got approved on recon.
I have some 30 day lates from 2 years ago which is why I don't pull the ole' trigger. Profile is pretty good, let's see... AAoA 3 years, income $75k, 7 HP 4 in the last year, CLI in siggy, what else.... I just want my shiny metal CSP!
How many 30 day lates? if it's just 1 or 2 I think you would be fine.
It's a looooong story, but ended up with 8 30 lates.

That's going to be tough, you might get approved after recon if you get a good analyst but I think you're better off letting them age for a while.

I would start off with another Chase card first maybe, just because of those lates, maybe freedom? Then in 6 months (maybe longer) try for the CSP.
