Re: CSP 70,000 POINTS

Correct, the AF is not waived the first year.

Still a pleasant surprise, I'd say. Smiley Happy

Yes that is the new offer where they don't waive the AF but give you an additional 10k points.

Re: CSP 70,000 POINTS

Yeah, I think they’re going in the direction of 60k SUB + AF not waived for the public offer, so OP’s offer is still better than what’s offered publicly.

Re: CSP 70,000 POINTS

Does she have the CSR or CSP already? Is she past the 48 month limit since last bonus. I'd love to get this offer.

Re: CSP 70,000 POINTS

I have the CSR, which was an upgrade from CSP.

She does not have either of the cards. Only card from Chase she holds is the CF, however she's 7/24 so I do not know. I would hate for her to waste a hard inquiry and get denied.

Re: CSP 70,000 POINTS

Heh, even I'd take a flier for 70k+ points.

Did that once in my credit journey already, about to do it again actually though I'm pretty sure I can get approved for a CIP only question is if the new EIN is a problem.

Inquiries are still basically irrelevant unless you have a big ticket item coming up.

Any HP can result in denial. If we waited for guaranteed approval, we'd be using debit cards.

Anyway, 70,000 reasons to give it a try. I'd call that a fair trade.
