CSP - Spending Bonus question

I just got the CSP (wooohoo!) and I have a question regarding the spending requirements for the bonus. Out of curiosity, say I'm a little short of the required spend, are there any little tricks, tips, or ideas to push past the spend? I know bills, etc, but anything else I might not know of?

Re: CSP - Spending Bonus question

Congrats!! I love my CSP. I'm still getting to my spend too. I have been putting everything on it. Bills, gas, groceries, kids school stuff.....everything!! *lol*  You could always offer to pay a bill or two for your parents or family member. Just have them write you a check or give you cash and then pay with your card and then pay if off as soon as it posts.

Re: CSP - Spending Bonus question

And if you can't float the money in gift cards, you can apply for the Amex Bluebird, buy the gift cards with the CSP, and load them onto Bluebird and pay bills (including CSP!) from that.   This way you are only out the cost of the gift cards, which for $3K worth is between $30 and $40, and presumably you also have some real spend so don't need the whole $3k in gift cards.

Whenever you are dining with colleagues / friends, offer to pay for it using CC as well and they can reimburse you cash Smiley Happy
