Do you mean can you get a business card even if you have more than four in 24? If so, the answer seems to be yes as I have seen several reports of people being able to get business cards, some even after being denied for personal card for 5/24. If the question is do business cards count towards the more than fiour accounts in two months I think the answer depends on whether or not the TL is reporting to your personal credit report. Even then they may not count, but having a multiple business cards that do not show up on your report wouldn't trigger the denial since its based on new accounts not inqs.
My business TLs are all hidden, of course. I was assuming, if I were to app for the Bus Marriott, it would not count, since my app for the CSP would pull my personal CRs, which would show the recent HP, but not the Business TL.
If hidden Business TLs are unlikely to count in the 5, then I'm cleared for the CSP bonus. I'm just debating on waiting (hoping) for a 50K bonus.
If its a card you actually want to use beyond the bonus then it is a tough call. Who knows when that bonus will come back up again and how much spend you could miss out on over that time. Of course, if you just want the bonus then it makes sense to wait until it pops. Only downside is while you wait you are limited on what oither cards you can go for so that you don't run afoul of the 5/24 rule.

No one knows what the future may bring, but if this is near end of the bonus era, 5/24 restriction aint gonna cut it for 2016!
I know for a fact that Chase will ignore the 5/24 rule sometimes. Although it is hard to predict when they will? My sister got recently approved for a CSP with 6+ new credit card accounts reporting on her CR's all opened in the last year (Amex, Discover, CapOne's). She only has a checking account with Chase with not that much money in it $3K or so. Who knows?
6 isn't far from 5, and with a banking relationship might just be the key.

You mentioned three lenders. Were your sister's other three cards with lenders or were some of those store cards? Did you sister have any prior cards with chase? I think some people were able to get in if they didn't have a credit card with chase already.

Pure conjecture here, but I'd wager that over the next 3 - 6 months, we'll see a 60K Ink Plus, 50K CSP, and $200 Freedom promo.

If this happens then I wonder what my chances will be for ink plus if I already have bold in light of the recent changes made to the bold.

I'd say excellent, if you're under the 5 in 24.
I'm a partner in two separate businesses, and have received an Ink Plus, Bold, and Cash in each one. All of them approved after review, and none ever needed to be reconned. My business partner had followed suit and done the same with identical results.

I just got approved for the csp a few days ago for a 18k limit after i check pre qualify online - I have jcrew, express, homedepot , city furniture , amex prg , amex everyday , capitol one venture , and a closed cap one plat account all opened withing the last 24 months. I was also approved for the freedom the very next day for a 10k limit - so i dont think they count store cards , but i was also pre approved check the that first

I'm not under 5/24 but I have heard others not having that issue with business cards just on the personal ones. You did these business apps after they changed the bold? It used to be they would give you the plus if you had the bold because one was a charge and you could always so oh I want to carry a balance now so I need a revolver. However, after the change the bold and plus are pretty much identical, which is the cause of my concern.
