I see Cap One now oversees my old Cabelas card. I would dump it, with a $1k CL, but it is one of my oldest accounts. Zer0 balance, always paid on time. Curius if it is a HP or SP for CLI? I picked it up years ago when reestablishing my credit. Current FICO hovers around 800 now.
My Cabela's card started at $5k I believe and is now $18k and no I don't use it that much. During the "in-house" Cabelas card management it was always a hard pull ($5>$10>$15>$18k), but Cap-1 is well known for soft pulls on their branded cards. The Cabela's card is also converting from a Visa to a MasterCard this Fall which I'm sure is Cap-1's choice.
As far as your original question, all of the cards I have that are "managed" by Cap-1 (GM Card, wife's Kohls, and I assume my Cabelas) have typically been a single HP for a CLI. I do wonder why you have an "old" Cabelas card that is still stuck at $1k, mine grew nicely without a lot of spending.

I tried for a CLI a few weeks after the cut over and it was a HP for me (and denied).
Ditto for me as well.
Followed normal Cabelas protocol and asked me for a financial statement also

Mine never grew since I got it, either. Still stuck at $1,000. I started off using it reasonably frequently (a few hundred dollars every 4-5 months or so). Last year I used it once for a $10 charge. Its actually on my list of cards to close for non growth AND non use.
