I heard that some people get turned down from Blispay and CO if their score is too high because CO like revolvers and not churners. Can anyone offer insight?

Funny thing is I get rejected for CashRewards from BOA for Age of Accounts. I think BOA is quite stingy with new accounts.

Sample size is small so it's hard to really tell, but you can certainly imagine that it could make sense (if not for those issuers). So with Blispay, the card offers a decent reward,as well as free financing for a few months. The model might rely on the fact that Ithey really need some of these poeple to pay real interest (i.e. extend past the 0% period) and then maybe experience shows that people with very high credit scores are much less likely to carry balances (it doesn't necessarily follow, but it could!) So then the issuer doesn't really want such people, who will take advantage of the rewards but not give anything back (apart fromt he portion of the swipe fee)
Again, no idea if this really happened, we saw a few high score people get rejected, but we don't know what the real reason was.
Around this time last year when Blispay was 4 months old or so there were a number of denials outside of the "failure to verify identity" with those with > 800 scores that seemingly had nothing adverse on their report that should have constituted a denial. Many of these people as well as others theorized that their scores may have been "too good" for Blispay and that they were seen as potentially unprofitable customers.
I've heard of this, like supposedly it's good to be around the high-mid mark. Like you don't want to have terrible credit, but the creditors also want a little bit of risk. In a way it makes sense but I wouldn't purposely mess up my credit score.

In this case would you recommend increasing utiliztion to decrease scores? I'm worried that periodic high utilization before app-sprees are bad for upcoming trended data.

I don't mean to be rude, but you scores are just above average.
