Can you request increase in sign up bonus time?

I talked to CSR and said such a request not possible. I have until july 5th to meet 3 month spend requirment. The restaurant offers goes until october 5th. I think I will ask my family for spending assistance. Although I might do gift card

Do you know often Amex offers the giftcard deal? Like I could I buy$200 gc get$10 then buy another $200 then get$10. Also could free shipping code be used twice in that case, for each of the $200 purchases. I also hear that occasionally Amex gives codes that discount both purchase and shipping fees. How often does that occur?

They only appear about once every 3-6 months in your offers section.

They do occasionally offer a code that will discount both, but it is uncommon usually it's one or the other.

Unless it's someone you trust absolutely with your life, I personally wouldn't trust them to have a credit card in your name, AU's are not responsible for any debt they incur, you are. If they max your card and don't pay you legally it's your problem and you can't do anything to them.

Was the Amex gift card fee of $3.95 too much for you or why didn't you want to go that route? Also as a datapoint I got the $10 bonus for $200 spend on Amex Giftcards 1-2 days after it actually posted onto my account.

I added my dad and older sister. I trust them enough. The Amex $10 bonus ends 7/31 but free shipping code ends 6/30. I was hoping in the month of july they may have an offer that waives both purchase and shipping fee. If that doesn't happen then I'll settle for free shiping because with 1% cashback plus the $10 bonus for $200, it's a good 4% back. If you buy a GC at Home Depot it works as well. This also is a good way for Discover 5% home improvement store category. It rings up as a store purchase as long as it is bought in store
