Cap 1 transfer balance feature removed?

So on my bucket Cap 1 card, I have the ability to transfer balances with a 0% bt fee, of the course the APR was 21.29% but I still had a month to pay off the balance, which I always did. I just noticed this was removed my account? Has anyone else experienced this? Was it because I had recent dispute on the account?

Re: Cap 1 transfer balance feature removed?

Capital One has been hit or miss with these lately. I just checked both my cards and my SavorOne has the option to transfer at 19.99% with no fee but my QS has no BT offers available at all. This is a better situation than when my BT option was gone from my SavorOne last time I checked too.

Re: Cap 1 transfer balance feature removed?

I haven't done anything with my three CapOne cards lately (two have had zero balances for a few months, one has 1% usage on it right now), but I just logged in and tried a BT on each one--they all yielded this message:

There are currently no offers available on your account. Please check back at another time. If this is a new account, offers may appear after the account is at least 11 days old.

Anyone know what's up with this? And, yes, my accounts are at least 11 days old! Smiley Happy

You do know that Cap One has shut down accounts for doing BTs then paying it off immediately?

I don't know if that's the reason or if you simply don't have offers, but I'd thread lightly if you've repeated this process one time too many.

How many is too many...that's something Cap One decides on.

Re: Cap 1 transfer balance feature removed?

The option to transfer exists on both of mine.  One has a 0% BT APR for 18 months, the other one is 12.99% with no BT fee.

Interesting. I wonder why all of mine have none. Inactivity, maybe?

I got that a lot during the last year. My CapOne BTs returned a couple of months ago. My Savor and QS both have 0% for 12 months at 2% fee. Before that i had an offer for 18 mos at 2% fee.

Hard to say who is specifically targeted and which offer is available depending on the product.  The poster above has dual BT offers, each for 12 months 0% APR.

I dont know about you Im tired of the Cap 1 game to get a CLI:

Recent use of this account has been too high or its Recent use of this account has been too low....The latter was tested when requesting a CLI. I have done 5 BT with 0% BT fees to my B of A account and Cap 1 sent out checks, I would use the money and pay it back durning the grace period to avoid the 21.29% APR. When done within a span of 3 months and requesting a CLI on the 4th month, Cap 1 would approve me for CLI. If they are going to offer me a BT with no fees, I'll use to prove I can pay it back.  I am seeing that I am not the only that had this feature taking away, I haven't done a BT in 6 months.
