For those lucky souls who get CLIs from Cap One, *how* did you find out? I've tried checking the "Modify Your Features" tab and then clicking on the "features" link (it's a purple dollar sign on my acct.). Wondering if you checked your acct and used that link. Or if you just logged in and found an increase (which is how it has worked with my one step CLI).
I'm eternally, optimistically hoping for a CLI w/them (not expecting, just hoping ) and would like to know what to look for.
Thanks!

Me, too!
You can have 800 and still not get a CLI LOL
About 2 wks after he got his second card, Hubby got an email saying he had a document ready. It said he was in the credit steps program and would get an increase in so many months. I think it should hit like Feb-March. His first card he never got a document but just got a surprise CLI of 500 about 6 mos in. Nothing since on that card after three yrs.
He did call to try and waive the AF, and they wouldn't, but they did temporarily drop his interest to 10-something%.
I've gotten nothing on my card except a letter saying I could call and have rewards added to it for so many months. I plan to do that this week.
IMO, it's easier to wrap one's brain around the rules of quantum mechanics than around the rules pertaining to a Cap1 CLI.

Yeah I'm a perfect example of that!
I know Cap One is horrible when it comes to CLIs. I (being the eternal optimist) just would like to know *what* to look for when I log in, so if/when I *do* get a CLI, I'll know asap. I'd also hate to lose an "upgrade" opportunity w/them because I didn't look in the right place and the right time.
I found out by logging into my account and noticing the increase.
Edited to add: the same with Barclays...and then I received a letter about a week later (not with Cap One though).
Thanks, Clocktick. That's exactly how it was with my step increase. I didn't know if regular CLIs worked differently.
