Cap One Credit Step(s) program

Does anyone know if there is only ONE credit "step" in this program, or does it continue? Say for example we don't call the EO or request CLI's, are there automatic further "steps" down the line or is this credit steps program only one measly credit step that happens one time afer the 5th statement?  I got my first CLI in this program but no further documentation about the next move in this program.

I opened up a Cap1 Cash Back card with a 500 CL in November 2011. Six months later in May 2012 I received a CLI to 750. I have tried multiple times since then to get a CLI and have never gotten one. I push 1000 a month through it.

Emphasis on the singular "step". 

My Student Journey got one and only one CLI after five statement cuts from 500 to 750.

It'll stay at 750 for eternity.

Well, unless I butter up the wizards at the executive office and they deign to grant me either a CLI or a better card. It's been about a year and my FICO/FAKO scores are now skirting the 700 mark, so I may just do that in the near future.

I'm 99% certain that you're going to have to go the EO route as well.

Have you tried going through Cap1 EO for a CLI??

They used to do more than one step, hence the name, but now it is only one step.

Hit up the EO. But don't stop with the CLI. I got 1% cash rewards added to mine, and the AF dumped. They bumped my CL from 500 to 1000 and told me I'll still get the credit step bump to 1250 next month. They'll do it. Make your case!
