Re: Cap1 change my card # because of Target issue

USAA did the same to me, but once again USAA is kind of awesome.  They notified me 3 ways:  by private message, by email and by a big red message when I log in.  (I'm just waiting for my text notification.  haha)   Also they are leaving my card usable for 20 days from date of mailing new card.

FICO: EQ 814 | TU 847 | EX ? (Started in the low 500's... you can do it!)

Amex BCE $25000, Amex AP $20000, SFFCU Visa $15000 + LOC $5000, USAA Amex $6000, USAA MC $7000, Cap1 $9500, Freedom $12000, Slate $500, Barclays "RIP" SM $11500, USBank Cash+ $12500, Citi Diamond $11200, Citi Double Cash $12000, Care Credit $13500k.

Just chiming in, but maybe you didn't read all your mail from capital one?  They did sent out a notice and it came in an envelope like the one they usually send their car loan preapprovals in.  Usually i throw them away but my sister was really bored and she asked if she could open my mail so i let her.  Come to find out they were send a new card.  It said that my current card would invalid a week after activating my new one.

Capital One Quicksilver: 14k * Alliant: 4k * BoA: 6k * Discover 5k * Best Buy Visa: 10k * Amex BCE: 7k, Amex Everyday: 1k * Target RedCard: 9k * Walmart: 10k * Citi 2k * Care Credit: 10k
