Capital One CC Issue

I was on the Cap1 site to pay a bill pending from earlier in the week.  Paid the total and checked on the other three Cap1 cards. The BJ's Wholesale MC had me at a $500.00 available credit, but with a $16K credit line. None of my other cards reflected a difference between available credit and my CL. Is this something I should be worried about? I'm guessing my CL is about to drop and drop a lot. Anyone else notice this with their card? I'm kind of hoping BJW is leaving Cap1 and this explains everything. If a CL this dramatic is about to happen, then I'm done with BJW!

That's a big delta; the only time CapOne did that to me was when they were holding my weekly payment on a new low-limit card; I presume my frequent payments triggered some sort of an AML protocol.  Time for a phone call.

Chapter 13:

  • Burned: AMEX, Chase, Citi, Wells Fargo, and South County Bank (now Bank of Southern California)
  • Filed: 26-Feb-2015
  • MoC: 01-Mar-2015
  • 1st Payment (posted): 23-Mar-2015
  • Last Payment (posted): 07-Feb-2020
  • Discharged: 04-Mar-2020
  • Closed: 23-Jun-2020

I categorically refuse to do AZEO!

@Horseshoez @Linnaea @redpat  I was going to take the phone call device and went back on the site to have it in front of me. The CL and the Available Credit were the same. Of course it was one of the few times I didn't take a screen shot.

I did pay the card two days after my last charge.

Re: Capital One CC Issue

@CYBERSAM  I actually just did and received the two to three days notice. First CLI I've asked for in a long time. CS Eq = 846, TU = 830, Ex = 841, all FICO 8, AAoA = 10 years, HP = 0, last application and approval 1/23 for BoA = $11K, TCL = $225K+, current usage = 0%. Paid everything in full today. Will charge tonight. Comenity won't clear for two days.
