Capital One - CL Redistribution

I tried searching but couldn't find anything specific to CapOne...

Before realiIng they are the worst I've ended up with two quicksilver cards after my first card was offered a PC to QS. Both have small CLs (3k and 1.5k). I have 3 other cards with BOA (7k CL each).

I'm thinking about closing one of the quick silvers. Does anyone know where if they will do a redistribution prior to closing? The 1.5k is the older card so I would prefer to move as much of the 3k limit to that one if possible.

Thanks y'all

They will not unfortunately. No more account combinations with them.

Ok. I wish I found MF about 6mo ago before my app spree in January. My second cap one would most certainly be an Amex

You'll end up amassing even more credit just hanging around here anyway. When I joined here, I only had 3 cards... As you can see, I have added a bunch since I joined 9/2018 and that's not even counting the 6 Synchrony accounts I had (I just closed my last one today), the closed AMEX, 3 Capital One cards, Ollo card, and Discover card. smiley-laughing021.gif

How the hell do you guys keep your scores up while app'ing for so much credit?! I dropped from 828 to 755 when I opened 3 cards in January. Slowly creeping back up but still only to 776.

Once you get your file thick enough it stops hurting as much. I've got 3 new cards reporting this year and I only lost a month in my AAoA for each one, bringing me down from 3y3m on my youngest file to 3y. I lost the 20-30 points on each bureau that I had gotten for hitting 0/12 and I lost 1 point for 2 inquiries on TU and 3 points for one on EQ (for some reason despite 5 inquiries on Experian I didn't lose any points).
