Capital One CLI question

It has been nearly 6 months since the last CLI with my Capital One Savour One card (April 4th). I wonder if I should wait until the 6th month completes the get the best results? If I do an increase request now and don't like the offer countered can I decline and be eligible when October 5th passes? Not sure how that works with Capital One.

Re: Capital One CLI question

I probably would just wait until the full 6 months are up and then hit the button

Re: Capital One CLI question

Use it a lot and PIF each month. They use old scores that lag behind. With record credit card debt. Purse strings might be a bit snug.

TWO MORE MONTHS NO BK! (on Eq/Ex)

I would not wait one more minute...Capital One will increase the CL on a card every 3 months if you use their cards right and oftend and don't mess up on payments. I have 4 cards with them of whom a couple have monster CL's. I normally just try to request a CLI once I am close to 90 days and punctually, a CLI is granted each time. It can be $1,000 or $20,000, depending on the card, credit and usage on that specific card.

Let us know what happens when you hit the button!

For me it was always 6 months on CLIs and if you get decline, you have to wait for another 3 months!

Re: Capital One CLI question

Any update on this? Did you decide on if you are going to request an increase or are you going to wait until next month?
