I was on Reddit and I noticed this post saying the Capital One has removed the annual fee savor 4% cash back
https://www.capitalone.com/credit-cards/dining-and-entertainment/
What does this mean what do you think is happening ?
If it really is gone for good it wouldn't be surprising.
While that copper/orange metal card is [was?] hellacool, you have to spend $9K-$10K a year in the 4% categories just to break even against the no-annual-fee SavorOne. If you aren't regularly spending $15K or more per year in the 4% categories then the card is pointless.
I does look like the regular Savor has been removed from all of the Cash Back and Dining offerings on the Cap1 website. However, doing a search there for "Savor Rewards" will still bring up a list of results which includes an active link for the card.

Agreed. For a $95 AF they should have bumped grocery stores to 6% or something and gone to war with AmEx.

Capital one yesterday officially remove it indefinitely you can no longer apply for it..
Should be interesting to see if they replace it with anything.
Here's an article about the removal, for reference: https://www.nerdwallet.com/article/credit-cards/capital-one-savor-card-to-stop-accepting-application...
I have a Savor Card. I do not pay the AF becuse I was grandfathered into my Savor. I applied for and got the Premiere Dining Rewards card, which later became the Savor, when it first came out. I wonder if this means I will be transitioned into a Savor One account.
