Capital One Image Card - Revert to original image

Getting bored with the image I selected and just want to go back to the orignal layout.  Is this possible?

Couldnt find a chat button on Cap1 and decided Id post before spending time on the phone with Cap1.

yes you can, I am in the middle of it right now and it is a nightmare, you need to get transfered to the card image department and ask them to fill out a "flagship" form. Then i'll remove the image and be sent to you.

Re: Capital One Image Card - Revert to original image

I tried this three times. Each time I spoke with a CSR and explained that I just wanted to go back to the standard card design. I empahsized that fact. They told me that they would take care of it, and when the card came it had my current custom design. In the end, I just gave up.

I did it  twice. I started a chat but then the rep told me I had to call, which I did. I asked to revert back to the original design and within a few days received a new card. Yes, they do need to send in a request, the rep will tell you that they need to fax a form. They usually do it while they're on the phone with you. If the rep doesn't mention that or doesn't do it while they have you on the line, I would advise to check the following days to see if it's been done.

So glad I kept my old cards.

They all still work (I had about 3 or 4 custom designs plus the default one.)

I am not surprised to read that.  I once asked and they sent me a platinum card (I had the cash back rewards card) so I had to call a second time then they forgot to do it so called a third time and finally received the correct card. I don't understand why they simply don't implement an option on the website to revert back to the original card, which would make things so much simpler.

OK....called in to Cap1, transferred to image dept (tech support), confirmed a few things, new stock card will be received ~10 days.

Re: Capital One Image Card - Revert to original image

What does the original card look like?

I have yet to receive mine (was a holder of Orchard Bank card that has transferred to CO now).

I wonder if I was to design my own, would it speed up the process of getting my new card? It's been MONTHS!
