Capital One Premier Dining World Elite MasterCard

It looks like Capital One has a new offering...

In some cases this might be a better option than Quicksilver; in my own case I might try to get a PC for my old QS MasterCard that I'm just keeping around since it's my oldest bankcard.

Here's a direct link for more info.

Wish it was a Visa, would let me upgrade my Journey, already have a QS with my shopping habits it would probably break even at best.

Re: Capital One Premier Dining World Elite MasterCard

I'm covered with BCP for groceries and AARP for dining...but nice to see CapOne making some sort of change.  Thanks for sharing.

Re: Capital One Premier Dining World Elite MasterCard

thanks for sharing! Just took a closer look at it, doesnt seem so appealing to me as there are other cards with similar or better reward structure. Besides it has a minimum $1k limit... good job Cap 1 but I think I shall pass on this one lol

Re: Capital One Premier Dining World Elite MasterCard

I have 2 Quicksilver Visas that I've intentionally kept separate, so I'll likely see if I can PC the oldest one into this new card.  This new card isn't interesting or unique enough for me to do a new application for though, but as a PC I'm interested.  If this works, it will likely take the place of my Marvel MC eventually.

Thanks for the posting this, UncleB.  I'm impressed at how quickly you guys seem to make new posts regarding 'hot off the press' new cards.

Why does this make a difference? You can still get approved at much higher limits...if your profile supports it. And there is no limit on the rewards you can earn.

"Is there a limit to the amount of rewards I can earn?

There is no cap to the amount of rewards you can earn on purchases."

Re: Capital One Premier Dining World Elite MasterCard

This is a great deal of benefits I think fo a no-AF card, mainly the unlimited 3% on dining. Personally, I wouldn't gain much from the card but I think it's superb as a second or third card (or first if you can get approved).

Re: Capital One Premier Dining World Elite MasterCard

Thanks B,

its nice to see Cap 1 stepping up their game little.

I've got most of my categories covered with BCP - 6%  groceries, 3% Department stores and Sam's 5% gas and 3% food.

I'm also looking at the new USAA unlimited, if they ever release in the D.C. area.
