@Man-Of-Steel wrote:The thing I hated the most about my original Quicksilver card was the fact that it had a fake shine printed on. When looking at a picture of the card online, it looks pretty cool and shiny. But in person, you can see that it is a fake shine! I still can't get over that. In contrast, my Discover it card has a real shine that actually moves with the light. That card looks and feels 100% better than my original Quicksilver card. However, I do like my Quicksilver image card with the embossed numbers and letters. The new EMV version looks somewhat promising, I just hope it doesn't have a fake shine as well.
Another minor gripe of mine is the fact that I'm using one of the Capital One stock images for my card, yet they show a default/generic "your image" photo for my Quicksilver card next to my online account. Since I selected one of their images, I think they should show it there instead of that dummy "your image" picture. These are just minor cosmetic gripes of mine.
I AGREE WITH YOU 100% ON THIS.

Thanks!
My chip cards were mailed out on April 1st according to chat. I like the traditional embossed cards, but I really had no problem with how the Quicksilvers looked originally.
Keep both your credit and your body in top shape!
Per chat my EMV card will be to me in 4-6 days. Also got APR lowered to 18.5%
Just got my new quicksilver with chip and embossed numbers. A lot better than before but still ugly

Do you know if you can change that image back to the default/original card image? Customer service had no idea what I was talking about when I asked.

Definitely an improvement

Good question. I would find that acceptable. I believe I also asked customer service about that a year ago and they were pretty clueless. My guess is that it's not possible unless you change your actual card back to the original Quicksilver card (assuming that's possible). I also wrote in a suggestion to them recommending that they add some flexibility regarding the card image that is displayed online.
