Recently I upgraded my Capital One Platinum MC to the Quicksilver. At the time of the upgrade I requested a CLI (as I was only at $750). I got the 7-10 day message. The next day I received a notification that I verify my income (which is 156k). Has anyone had this happen before? Is this a good sign?

Yes it's a good sign send them what they want
Yes a very good sign! It looks like they want to give you a huge CLI! Good Luck!
it isn't unusual at all for them. I'm seeing more and more posts about them asking for income verification, even on their co-branded cards. They asked me for proof of income as well. When I sent it, they gave me a boost of $150 lol but to be fair, I called a few weeks later and complained that I got such a crummy increase after being asked to prove my income and ended up with an additional increase.
Income verifications can happen with any creditor.

@notfancy An additional increase in the amount of.......? If you don't mind me asking.
I don't mind you asking. I'll give you the whole bit:
I pressed the credit increase button, got $100.
Emailed the EO- got a PC to Quicksilver One, and sent in the POI as requested- gained an additional $150.
Stewed a couple weeks, and emailed again to complain about being asked to provide POI for a lousy $150- got $750.
So my $750 card went to $1750 in about 5 or 6 weeks or so.

I was also asked for income verification when I did a CLI request through EO. My QS1 went from $650 to $1000. I just faxed over my last earnings statement to the number they sent in the letter.
Thanks everyone for the info! I'm waiting still for their decision... they received my info on Monday (it's now Wednesday) but it is still in pending. I'll update everyone as soon as I hear.
