Hi Killskulls,

Sorry I'm just getting back to you. But I've been really busy with the holidays.

Now that I think of it, there may be something to the whole billing cycle thing. My billing cycle ends around the 25th or 26th of the month. I made my purcase on the 13th or 14th of the month. Maybe that is why my credit was applied in two weeks, i.e., I was close to my billing cycle?

Hang in there. I am sure your credit will be applied soon!

Yes, it was really quick. My husband just did the precheck on Monday.

Re: Capital One Venture TSA Precheck Question

Hey - did you ever get it?

Could it be because Venture cardholders who became members before the GE/TSA pre-check reimbursement was announced by Capital One are not eligible for it?

My wife just got her own Venture and I am considering combining mine with Quicksilver but was wondering if I can get the GE/TSA pre-check reimbursement, too. I have had my Venture card since July 17.

Hi! I am not the original poster. But, I believe they mentioned upthread that the credit was pending. So, they did get it.

As for your question regarding getting the credit if you got the Venture in 2017, I believe the answer is yes. I got my Venture in February 2017. I received the global entry credit. In fact, as soon as they started offering it, they sent me an email stating that my card would be elibigle. Within a few days of the email, I applied for global entry. Got the credit within 2 weeks or so.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, I did get it. It was about 3 weeks I believe. I newly applied to venture in November. I believe anyone who has the card qualifies for credit

Re: Capital One Venture TSA Precheck Question

Thanks for your response.

I did not realize I got an email back in June extending the new benefit to me, a current cardholder.

Did mine over the weekend and already got the email saying they'll reimburse me.
