I bet if you stop paying them they’ll report in a heartbeat! No need to argue with CSR!
It's been a long day and this truly made me giggle. Thanks for the much need laugh!
Update: Got a notice from Experian that there has been a change to my report. Capital One is reporting a balance of $3840 on a credit line of $13800. Now, the problem here is that I have NEVER had a balance this high. In fact my reported balances have never been more than $500. Was not happy about this as I am now reporting 28% utility. Just got two new cards and don’t need my creditors getting jumpy.
Get on the phone and call Cap 1 CS. Was told that they originally did not report for me in September because I was in the Irma zone. This was not told me to me when I originally chatted with the csr earlier this month. She said the $3840 is obviously a mistake and that she doesn’t know where that came from. Then the csr told me that the current balance should update 4 days after the statement date. MySo, I should check Monday or Tuesday to see if the correct information updated. So annoying. Hopefully this rights itself.
MVPJ, this is not good. I think you may be right. It’s crazy. I will definitely be contacting them again on Monday or Tuesday if this doesn’t right itself. This incorrect information is hurting my credit. Gonna move all spend to PayPal and PenFed if they can’t fix it.
Yeah, I just realized mine hasn't reported since August as well. And it's with the highest balance I've had since opening it. Ugh!
Me too, last update Sept 5th. It's annoying, at that point it was maxed out and it doesn't show my increase.
@ OP. Cap1 hasn't reported ANYTHING to ANY of my credit bureaus since AUGUST 26TH. glad to see I'm not the only one they are screwing with. What the bleep is their deal?
After reading this, I took a look at my reports, and nothing has been reported since August. What's going on with them??
I live in Florida. The last time Cap1 reported for me was 9/17. Hurricane Irma hit on 9/10. Im suspicious of this new excuse for Cap1
