yes
I'm pretty certain it has something to do with the hurricane afected states. I have 4 friends and family that live in my area (south FL) and cap1 hasnt reported since august or early september (those with closing dates after hurricane). I for one have not recieved updates on any of my cap1 accounts(4) as of today.
I called today ( after reading this thread) since all 3 of my cards haven't reported since August. CSR put me on hold and the Supervisor said since Fl was in a FEMA Disater Area they suspended reporting. I was assured that my Venture which hasn't reported since 8/6 it will start up again at the end of this cyle next week and rest will start reporting again.
Yes, same here. Mine stopped around Aug 23rd. I contacted a Capitol One CSR, they told me that they have stopped reporting to the credit bureau's some time around the first hurricane (Harvey) that hit Texas in August 2017, and a two weeks later (Irma) in Florida. This was good news to me at first. The CSR told me they did this because they knew that the extended power outages in Texas and Florida would or could impact the customers ability to pay their bills without the internet or cell phone service. They knew that this was an act of G_d and that even good payers would be affected, possibly making negative marks on their credit scores.
My question was answered. BUT, to this day they still have not reported in.
When I called in to Cap 1 around mid October 2017, they told me this information and that Texas would be back online in a day or two and that within 2 weeks Florida residents would also be back online. NOT ! NOPE ! NOTHING !
SO, WHO is the one at fault ? WHO is dropping the ball ??? Capitol One ? The credit Bureau's ?? or Credit Karma??
THAT IS THE NEW QUESTION ! ! ! ! !
Cap 1 reported for me here in FL and my score jumped a number of points now that the balance is gone.
Capital One finally reported. They stopped reporting in September. I called them in October and asked them to report. They reported the wrong balance and account information. Called back in and asked them to dispute. Thur said it would be corrected in November. It was finally fixed for my November statement with correct information.
