One of my new credit cards, which I haven't even received yet, is already reporting to TU and EX. The limit reported on TU is incorrect. This may obviously cause a problem with utilization. How do I get it corrected and is it neccessary?
Wait til you gt the card to verify limit. If it is reporting incorrectly simply call the issuer, they may advise you to wait til next reporting date for it t update.
How much difference is there? TU reports all trade lines to the next highest hundred. Example: 450 = 500 or 2950 = 3000. If this is the kind of problem you are having, there is not much to do about it, but if it is really off, such as 3000 reporting as 1000, then I would wait for the card and then contact the card issuer and ask for a correction.

Oh, well my limit is only $125 (don't laugh). TU reports as $100. LIke I said, no big deal I guess. Simply noticed a discrepacy and wondered what kind of a difference it made, if any.
