Card Limit

One of my new credit cards, which I haven't even received yet, is already reporting to TU and EX.  The limit reported on TU is incorrect.  This may obviously cause a problem with utilization.  How do I get it corrected and is it neccessary?

Wait til you gt the card to verify limit.  If it is reporting incorrectly simply call the issuer, they may advise you to wait til next reporting date for it t update.

Re: Card Limit

And ut might well get corrected the first time the card reports to the CRAs anyway
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

How much difference is there? TU reports all trade lines to the next highest hundred. Example: 450 = 500 or 2950 = 3000. If this is the kind of problem you are having, there is not much to do about it, but if it is really off, such as 3000 reporting as 1000, then I would wait for the card and then contact the card issuer and ask for a correction.

Re: Card Limit

Thanks everybody.  I will wait.  It is a very small limit...gotta start somewhere...and I don't plan on using it much anyway.  I'm just thankful to have a credit card again.

Oh, well my limit is only $125 (don't laugh).  TU reports as $100.  LIke I said, no big deal I guess.  Simply noticed a discrepacy and wondered what kind of a difference it made, if any.

Let me correct myself. TU reports to the nearest hundred, not the highest hundred. I NEED COFFEE!
