This is more of "soon" plan and a "future" plan. I plan on doing cash reward cards because I travel once maybe 3 years. I plan on applying for these cards in a year from my next app date, which I plan to be around October.
Quick summary: My scores and cards are in my sig. I dismissed my chap 7 in 5/14.
My goal card, or cards that I'd like to have are: US Bank Cash + (1 or 2), Sallie Mae 5% cards (2) and Fidelity AMEX.
I have a 403b with Fidelity so I think it makes sense to get that card. I plan on using it for everyday purchases outside of the other cards in my list and my QS card where AMEX isn't allowed.
Questions:
1. What scores do I need for my goal cards?
2. Should I get a BOA card to help me rebuild in October? I read that an optimal score is 3 cards with 1 reporting at 9%. I was going to get a Barclays rewards but they may hurt me chances at the Sallie Mae cards?
2.5. Should I just garden my 2 cards without apping for a 3rd?
I'll probably have more questions, but this should give me a start.
Thanks all!

I would just Garden till your scores get close to 700 to app for those but that is just my opinion
Just curious why US Bank is on your short list of cards. They are a VERY conservative lender. I've had my checking/savings account with them since 04' and my BK was in 08'. Since then, they have never approved me for any of their cards. I even went to the highest of the high in underwriting and nothing. They want at least 5-6 years AFTER your discharge date, and even then it's not guaranteed. I've threatened to leave them for this reason but got cards elsewhere. Try Cap 1 and Barclays. They gave me love post BK. Then if you have military connections, try the greatest NavyFederal!
Good luck!

As Slim has stated , I would forget about the Cash+ Card

They made my list because of the rotating categories. I can do the 5% restaurants and 5% something else, which is awesome.
I didn't include them in my BK but I never had anything from them either though. So you're saying because of my BK that I shouldn't even look their way for 6 years? I can understand that from a lender's perspective. Thanks for the tip.
I do not have military connections, but thanks for the recommendation.
EDIT: Forgot the "why"

*sighs* Alright... Bubble bursters, any other recommendations on a good cash back card? Or am I pretty much limited to Sallie/Fid ? Are those even possible?

To be honest its looking like Cap1 for a year at least. I discharged my BK in 2011, Cap 1 approved me and nobody else, 2 years out I got Barclay Rewards MC, then Discover, 3 years I got Best Buy store card, and Sallie Mae. Chase, Amex, and US Bank wont give me the time of day. Chase said try at 7 years and US Bank said 6.5 years should do the trick with no blemishes. Amex just flat out said no, they didnt want to talk about it further. I only included 1st Premier in my BK so that has no effect on thier decision.

You're fine. I would rather be told how to best use my HP VS waste them. I thank you and Slim for the feedback, I wouldn't of known otherwise and would of been worse off for wasting the pulls.

With a recent bk, your options are Cap1 and Barclays IMO. Fid/Amex and US Bank will want to see more time of re-established credit. There's nothing wrong with trying for BoA and perhaps you'll be offered their secured card- someone please chime in on the timeframe for boa after a bk dismissal 2-3 years?
