What is the credit score requirement for this card? Are they inquiry sensitive even on recon??? I have 3 derogs and 6 inquiries the past 6 months 12 the past 2 years rebuilding... Im in the garden but was wondering if i have a shot
supposedly a few have gotten in with scores in the 630s. It has become pretty common now for 650ish scores to get approved. I think you're more likely to get stuck with a $500 limit when you get into the 640s, but you can get approved. They're not too terribly inq sensitive
You can try it, however, the derogs may hurt you.
I would stay in the garden for a year with your cards.
I was approved earlier this week but had to recon
FICO in the 650 make sure your UTL is below 30% they will kill your AP for high UTL no matter what your score is and they don't recon high UTL either.
Very true thats what help my low score was have a 5% utilization on my cards, another note AU aren't considered with chase so if your cards are high but your an AU on a 50k limit they wont cont it toward your utilization
I have gotten in with a low score of 629 with $500 limit. Called to reconsider limit was approve for $4500.
i didnt call to recon as i apped over the phone with a woman that was not of american background.
my score was around 670 and got hit with a 500 limit.
but that was before my utility dropped from 18% to 6% .
i had no derogs and at that point about 1.2 years of aaoa.

I just got approved this morning after calling recon at 888-245-0625. My TU is 699 as of 8/10 (GECRB soft CLI denial letter) and EX is 678 as of 8/01 (AMEX soft CLI denial letter) and EQ is 671 as of sometime in July. They approved me for $1k. My util on TU is at 6% and on EQ it's 16%. EXP is way higher due to not updating an account at 40%. My AAoA is 5.2yrs
The biggest (and pretty much only) negative on my CR that the analyst brought up is a giant unpaid Fed. Tax Lien. I told him that that is in payment plan and was reduced when I refiled, and that they have not updated the numbers on the PR since the original filing 3+ yrs ago. I also told him that I recently transferred my personal banking relationship over to Chase from BofA (I also have a BofA card) in the past 2 months, and am looking to capitalize on the 10/10 combo. He understood and came back (4 min later) with "I was able to approve for $1000 at this time".
I asked why it's lower than many of my other cards, and he said because I have many new accounts this year (true, Discover Amex and Nords in the past 3 months). He did say to call in on activation and have them resubmit to an analyst for a higher limit, but I felt he was just trying to end the call peacefully.
Honestly I'm fine with that for now. I wanted the card for lower end purchases (< $10 generally) to maximize the 10/10 combo. Between my Discover and Amex I have many of the other points and discount spectrum covered. I also have a Chase Ink revolver (business) with UR points so the Freedom should add nicely. My wife also switched over her banking and she applied while they were opening the bank accounts and got approved for $3k. Her TU is about 690 and her EQ was 695 at the time of approval, and she has no negative info, just high util % (60%) due to BT with Navy.
