If they do the promo can i get them to honor the $200?
Once the promo starts, send them a secured message asking for the new bonus. You will have no problems getting the $200 bonus.

IIRC, approximately a month.
Dangnabbit. Guess I'll have to wait for the next promo period.
Should be live June 1st.

Thanks for the confirmation-
Actually, nevermind June 1st date. Live with direct link.

From what I read on here, in the past, many people were successful in getting Chase to honor the promotion after contacting them via secure message. Good luck.
They honored it retroactively for me last year, too. I'd had the card for about 6 or 8 weeks, and had already met the spend and received the $100 bonus when I heard about the $200 one here. Sent them a nice, polite secure message and they credited me the extra hundred bucks on the next statement.

Could it be Chase getting tougher on multiple Hard Inquiries?
I'm curious to see the threads created in Credit Card Applications / Approvals while this bonus is available. I predict a lot more denials this time around. I checked out some of the other forums after our recent discussions here and it appears that their recent "crackdown" is for UR earning cards. It's possible that it'll only be an issue if you have a UR card with transfer capabilities to transfer the 20k points to (conjecture), but I wouldn't be surprised if their denial criteria applies to everyone.
Specifically, I think we'll hear a lot of reports of analysts saying that you've opened too many credit cards in the past 2 years and that they can't override the denial if that's the reason. Looks like I won't be getting a CSP anytime soon!
Application requires further review... Looks like I'll be on the phone with recon as soon as they're open...
Thank You
Well Said. That very well could be the reason. It will be interesting to see if the Chase Pre Qual site is still solid, during the new promo.
