Chase Mid Cycle Reporting

I've read that if I pay my Chase CC to zero they will automatically update to the bureaus. But is there a certain time I should leave the account at zero balance to ensure they update before I can use it again? Thanks

Anytime you pay it off, it will update it.  Happen to me many times.  No particular time as long as payment post you will have it reported.

Re: Chase Mid Cycle Reporting

Yes they do mid-cycle reporting if you PIF,  you can leave it clear for 24 hours and it should be enough, and most things don't post imediately and pending charges aren't reflected in your reported balance.

So if you zero the balance, charge something and zero it again within the same billing cycle, it'll get reported both times? Smiley Wink

Re: Chase Mid Cycle Reporting

I let a blance report quite a bit with my CSP, then PIF within a few days.  It always reports when it gets to $0, and shows the bigger payment amount (rather than several smaller payments like I do on cards that don't automatically mid-cycle update).

Re: Chase Mid Cycle Reporting

It won't show a "green box" you know the one you get every month for paying on time . It'll just updated the balance to zero .

Re: Chase Mid Cycle Reporting

Is this for Chase exclusive or all cobranded cards too? Not sure if my IHG card is changing to $0. But then again CK is slow.
