Chase Physical Address

      i keep having more problems with proving my physical address. i get no mail there it all gets sent to a PO box. I faxed a photocopy of  my license twice and both times they said it was not clear enough. I mailed a copy in last week as well and hopefully it will get there and be entered into their computers. I have been back and forth with them for days. Yesterday was the fourth time I called and they put me on hold and then told me 5 minutes later that they still couldn't read my fax. This is one of the top banks in the US and they can't seem to get a fax machine that will print clearly. I'm getting very frustrated. I just have to be patient I guess. I am going to try figure out some other form of documentation that proves where I live. I am going to go to the town hall and get some sort of voting record or something that proves my physical address which is a bit easier fax.

do you have a chase bank nearby? they can scan and fax your ID over for you. if that still fails, at least you can argue that it's done by their own people now and there's really nothing much else you can do.

what if you make a color copy and mail it in to them?

some licenses have fancy holograms and all that security features which sometimes shows up when you make a black and white copy. all of those layers showing up at the same time makes the license copy hard to read sometimes.

what about your passport or other documents as well? will they take that?

     I am hopeful that the mailed photocopy of my license will be fine. I want to try to send something as well inbetween because my 30 days of my application are half over and I want to get this whole thing wrapped up.  The good news is I can't believe they won't extend me some sort of offer after all these hoops I have jumped through... If I get denied after all this I will consider it a blessing in disguise and reapply in like 2 years when the CL I would be approved for would be way higher.

if possible, try to drop by a branch, or mail a color photocopy I suppose.

I had the same struggle with my SSN. It needed 3 attempts and the solution I had to use was  first a regular copy, then enlarge it and only then scan/fax it. Any other way it was not readable.  (too small and due to the hologram mainly black and unreadable on the side of Chase) So it could be the same if you scan your DL direclty. Try to copy, enlarge it and then fax it. This worked for me.

And yes be careful not to exceed the 30 days because this will impose a 2nd HP ...I was not aware of this. Stopping by at Chase branch is a very good option if you are in the US. Good luck.

   I am not near a Chase Branch but I enlarged it and refaxed it and I also sent a physical copy of the photocopy. If they can't read this then I'd what to do.

Take a picture of your DL with your phone.....use online fax service such as freshfax to send it to them.

Same happened to me, they requested proof of my address that was Thursday today is Wednesday and still they have not processed the fax hope to at least get approved

That is what i did when serve needed to verify my identity, and the other day when discover needed to, i took a picture with my phone and uploaded it through their service.

    I enlarged a black and white copy of my driver's license and faxed it to them on the photo setting and then I took the photocopy and sent it to them through the U.S. Mail as well. One of the two should get to them and be clear enough to establish my address. I will try calling again today.
