No go...got this as a response:
Thank you for contacting Chase about a credit limit
increase.
The offer to get a credit limit increase without a credit
inquiry (hard pull) is not available.
I will be glad to process a request for a credit line
increase. To do so, reply to this email with the following
information:
* Annual gross income (you do not need to reveal alimony,
child support or other separation maintenance income if
you do not want us to consider it as a basis for the
payment). Annual gross income is the income you can use to
pay your debts. Examples can include income from wages,
investments, rental properties, Social Security benefits
and retirement accounts.)
*The total credit line you are requesting (current credit
line plus the amount of the requested increase).
*We will also need to know your Housing Status, if you are
an owner or rent, as well as your monthly housing payment.
By sending a request for a credit line increase, you
authorize Chase to obtain a copy of your credit report,
your credit agencies reports history and any other
information to determine whether the request can be
approved.
After receiving this information, we will process your
request and will reply via email.

Thank you,
Sorry to hear that aveda,
The guy even messaged me before they put it through because they misunderstood my message (I said "I would like an increase of $1,000, bringing my total to $1,500.") and he thought I wanted an increase of $1,500, and said "Just to confirm, a request of $1,500 will require us to obtain your credit report" and I was like "uh no" and then he was like "oh, okay, no credit report then"
Still wish I got more, but with no HP i'll take what I can get.
