So Chase just shutdown my Chase Sapphrie Reserve card.
I've had this card for 5 years already and never missed a payment.
According to a manager, it's because my credit reporting agencies reported an inaccurate account with late payments that dropped my score to below 600.
The account has already been removed from my credit reports and my score is back up to where it should be (730 Experian Fico)
I spoke with a Chase manager who was able to pull up my new report and she confirmed with me that she did see that inaccuracies were corrected and then submitted my account for "reinstatement".
What are my chances here?
Is there a number I can call to maybe speak to a higher-up who can review my file and see this was just because of a credit reporting error?
Is there an address I can send a letter to?
Please assist guys, I feel very wronged here as it really wasn't my fault.
At this point I would actually preach patience in waiting for the results of your reinstatement case. Sounds like to me you stand a good chance of getting your CSR back with no changes. Let Chase do their thing and assuming you don't get reinstated (which would surprise me IMO) you can go from there on talking to someone higher up on the food chain as it were
Did the manager mention how long it would take to hear back from them on their decision?
Thats a little reassuring, I have my fingers crossed.
They said it could take up to 10 days.
Although, I'm not sure how I'm going to find out.
Sounds like - or at the very least inferring - based on these two articles detailing their successful account reinstatements you'll receive a phone call from Chase

I would give it a few days and then call them back to see if there's any new information if you haven't received any communication from them about it

+1
Don't rock that boat. Let the process unfold until you have answer. Then go from there.
Yeah, I guess I'll just wait and follow up in a few days.
Thanks guys, will let you know what happens!
YAY! Chase just called me and had my account reinstated!!!
She was super nice and understoof my situation perfectly.
Although I did take a hard pull and was denied for a CLI Its okay, will try to recon this.
Does reconning CLI work?
IME reconning a denied CLI request just resulted in more pulls with a lengthy interrogation from a Chase credit analyst. Unless there are really extenuating circumstances for why you were denied, I'd just give it some time.
Congrats on your reinstatement!
Congrats. Glad it worked out !
