I got this in the mail today. It is for 0% APR until October 2015, and after that APR is 12.99%. Is this a good card? I have a Chase Freedom. If I do apply, will it be a HP?
Apr is pretty good I would go for it if you have a solid good file.
Of course, if you apply it's a HP.. might be 2 or 3. Never know. Most likely just one since it's a pre-approval so to speak, but can't guarantee anything these days with Chase. And it's a GREAT BT card. No fees and 0% APR for a long time.

Sounds like you're just responding to their marketing. Good depends on what you need/want. Find cards that suit you versus relying on offers. Does anything other than the intro offer matter to you? What are you going to do with the card when the intro offer runs out?

Always assume HP.
You only get this card if you need to bt.
Ah, you answered the question that's been bugging me for a while on this card.
I ended up with a Slate card because I had their old buy.com visa, and a 3.9% BT for life sitting on it. I paid the BT off, and it's just sitting there with no real purpose in my card stash other than it's been open since 2003.
I guess what I should be doing is closing my current CSP, reallocating the CL over to the Slate, and then PC the Slate into a CSP. (to keep the old history)

If you BT to a Slate, you're missing out on one of the best sign up bonuses in the credit card world (45,000 UR points).

Oh, I don't need a Slate. I keep getting solicited for it, but already have it, and since the Slate is intended for BTs, it's the time to get rid of it.
Hmm I meant PC to a CSP, not BT to a Slate
Thanks guys. I just a got a Citi Simplicity. Got the same offer. I will garden for a while and try the Slate next year.
