Chase United Club Card -- Getting over CL

Hey Guys,

I have a chase club card with a $10K CL and I usually spend around $40K Per Month on it.

In the past, I used to pay my balance once it reaches $10K and used to cycle my CL.

This month, I did not paid any $$ and chase surprisingly approved my $40K charges.

Does any one know will this creates any flag/AA from them? It is really much easy to make one payment than 4 payments. Thanks.

Is the UA  Club card a credit card not a flexible spending card where you can get approved over the limit?

Its a Visa Signature so you have the flexible spending option Smiley Happy At least I think thats how it works. Never tried going over the limit with mine

IMO this card should report as flexible spending from Chase and if you read in your terms it should say something about they may approve charges over your CL but whatever you spend over has to be paid by the next due date...or some wording like this.  Not all signature cards are flexible spending cards but Chase cards should have all that option.

Its fine, as long as you pay for the balance over the CL, perferably PIF, do it enough and chase will probably give you a auto-CLI. YMMV. But chase does love making swipe fees and getting PIF. My son has had his Chase freedom card to 105%, (not signature version) and they offered him a SP CLI for doing it. not sure I would get the same offer.
