Chase United Explorer Mileage Plus Card Has Been Approved!!!! BuT!!!!!

I received a letter to call them to verify my identity two days ago. I called them to complete precessing the application. I answered all the question correctly and they told me I was approved for $2K. I told them it wasn't enough to buy tickets. They transferred me to underwriter dept  to ask for CLI. The underwriter told me they couldn't gave me more than $2K without pulling another credit report.  She sugguested me to remove portion of credit line from other Chase cards. I agreed. I told me to close one of Chase Freedom cards to move it to United card.  I also told her I did ask them to pc. They refused to do. That's why I applied another one. I also asked do I still have 30K miles bonus by transferring CL. She told me I still qualify for the bonus.  She also told me it will be $7500 Signature Card.

Ron,

Do you have a United Mileage Plus account prior to applying for the Chase card?  If so, you should have received an offer for 50,000 bonus miles, plus 5,000 for adding an AU.

Congrats. Fyi- the branch offer is 50K miles, see if they'll match it.

Thanks for you all. I just talked to them (lending dept). and they moved $500 from Chase Freedom to United Explorer Visa. I just found out it is not Visa Signature Card, They cannot upgrade it after a year. By the way, they cannnot match the branch offer because I applied online.
