I did,was all base on internal data they asked about my WAMU CC and my Chase CC

Basically what happened and why I couldn't pay..

My reply was pretty simple ...like who in the middle class wasn't effected by the recession??? And segway to my CR now and what I'm doing now...to improve and keep a healthy credit profile and he didn't ask about the old accounts again.

Thanks for sharing your data points!

My friend burned for 5 figures back in 2007. Chase sold the debt so there is no way they can pay them back. He is pondering if he should apply for a Chase Card.

Did you apply for the Disney Card before or after you opened the checking account. Did they bring up the Chase account that was IIB when you recon them?

I applied for Disney Card first.  I was initially denied due to BK on report but they did not specifically ask about the account that was IIB.  I called recon line and was approved.
