Chase no-limit-reported question

Okay, so I have this World card from Chase. As per everyone's advice, I killed myself getting to a computer on time to pay off nearly 3000 dollars this month, so the balance would report as 0. I had planned to do this every month.

Smiley Surprised

Ahem. Turns out that last month, (the first month I had it) they applied the app fee just before the statement drop date, which was before I received the card. Does that seem hinky to anyone else?

Even though I paid it as soon as I got the card, my reports now list the high balance (limit) as 85.00.

So. Should I run up a higher balance (maybe 1500?) just to have it report for one month, to give me an advantage in the future? Or does it not matter if I just always PIF and have the balance report as 0?

Any advice?

Re: Chase no-limit-reported question

The cards won't report the highest amount used during the month - only the balance at the time the statement cuts.
