Yeah, I would probably be borderline. My scores are in the low 700s and I have two 30 day late pays on my CR.

My buddy is in a similar boat to you OP and he got that offer yesterday.. applied for CSP and instant approval!

I received a CSP through Chase Offers in April.  My scores were in around 670 with a perfect payment history but little of it.  AAoA was only about 6 months with an AoOA of 15 months.  Also 10/24 although really 10/15.

Okay...here is an update on my situation.  Went to my branch today to ask about this "offer".  Banker was very nice and has helped me open accounts in the past.  She suggested Freedom Unlimited because there is a current bonus offer.  I explained my situation regarding 8/24, and some new accounts with other banks.  Talked about how I wanted to expand my relationship with Chase, blah, blah, blah.  

I end up apping for Freedom Unlimited instead of CSP.  Kicking myself because I got 7-10 day message.  Whomp-whomp.  

I was annoyed with myself but figured I'll get an HP from Chase anyway so I apped CSP when I got home.  Interestingly enough, when I went to the online app for CSP, the green banner across the top said, "Your offer".  30-day message.  We shall see.  I won't be surprised if nothing comes from this, but will be pleasantly surprised if something does.

From what I've seen, the 5/24 rule is a pretty solid line in the sand for Chase.  Sorry about the hard pull.

I noticed the offer to "Earn up to 50,000 bonus points per year" for the CSP when you refer friends even though I don't have a CSP. I guess it works out the same as the referral bonus for the Freedom card. We shall see if a CSP offer ever emerges in my online account.
