Consensus appears to be no, when applying for a cobranded card the 5/24 won't apply. Of course, if you apply for a Freedom/CSP/Slate/etc, they will count all credit cards in the past 24 months including any previous Chase cobranded cards you may have gotten from them.
My 5th account aged out yesterday and I got a Freedom without issue.
im intrested in the southwest card thats the airline i use and the hyatt card i wont be apping until FEB thats when my to newest accounts will be over 6 months
i dont have any chase products but im over the 5 and really want a freedom will get that in 2017
It does not. I had 6 or 7 accounts in the past 12 months when I was approved for my SW card last month.

How your score looks like? They will pull EQ and EX in most cases.

There have been reports of successful apps for those who didn't already have a Chase card.
