Many consider Citi "prime" (in fact, everyone does), they're pretty picky.
The 3 "superprime" are BofA, Chase, and Amex, in my book.
Will my interest rate and BT offers remain the same if I convert?

It may or may not, if you call and request a product change, they will disclose this to you before they move on it.
Furthermore, if you accept, they mail you the terms, and you keep your current card for 45 days, during which you can always cancel the conversion.
