I just wanted to share a DP with my DC card. I started a balance transfer with them in February, but I determined that I had the money saved to pay off the transfer after a week (stupid on my part, should have just waited and never done the transfer). Anyway, the transfer fee was 3% (about $30) and since I didn't "use" the balance transfer 0% APR offer at all, I decided to call up Citi's customer service. I fought with 4 different front-line CSRs, but the fifth one gave me a number to customer relations (I believe) and she was able to ask her manager about my situation. As the title says, they were able to refund that fee! It was kinda a hassle, so I do not know if it will work for everyone, but I just wanted to let people here know that it was possible.
