Citi’s Custom Cash card?

Wondering if anyone has more than 2  of these 5% cards?

(This question was inspired by a reply from  @mgood.)

Re: Citi’s Custom Cash card?

I know some people have two.
Surely someone has more than that. I can't say for sure that I've seen anyone with more than two, but someone probably does.

I think so. That's the only way I've heard of anyone getting a second one.

Two as well but not sure if anyone has three.  In theory should be possibly with PC route if you have a 3rd card that can be pc'ed

Re: Citi’s Custom Cash card?

I have 2 and I was told I could PC to a third.  I am considering closing my Costco Membership and thus my Costco Visa, so I called and asked if I could PC to something.  They quickly said Custom Cash.  This also makes me wonder if I could also change my Double Cash to the Custom Cash, which was something else before (the one that was like Discover with rotating categories).  Wouldn't it be nice to change them all to Custom Cash and then label them for each category!  I think having four Custom Cash cards would be amazing and probably mean that I could ditch a whole handful of cards.

I remember the days when 1.5% was a great thing....  Now a 2% card is even more normal and CapOne still hasn't realized it...

It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.....
Always follow these rules: Only take a HP for a new account. Always use the best rewards card for that reward category. Don't close a card unless you know you really should. Never use more than 35% of a credit limit. Recon as much and as best you can. Use the introductory period to the best advantage. Get the signup bonus. Whenever possible PIF or balance transfer so you pay less in interest. Never give an excellent rating when it is actually the norm. Always look for a discount as more is always better.
Always accept candy from strangers because they have the best candy or from people you know have good candy.

Re: Citi’s Custom Cash card?

Got excited by this post so I called in to PC my Costco visa to the custom cash.  No soup for me though...Costco  is still a dead end per the rep I talked to.  Maybe other people will have better luck.

Re: Citi’s Custom Cash card?

It is a bummer that  your Costco is not currently allowed to be PC'd  @Hansolojr    I would try calling back at some point as I have heard inconsistent results from PC requests.

As a general FYI, googling has showed that the following cards have been PC'd  (after 12 months) to the CCC:

  • Citi Premier Card
  • Citi Prestige Card
  • AT&T Access Card from Citi
  • Citi ThankYou Preferred Card
  • Citi American Airlines AAdvantage cards
  • EXPEDIA+ VOYAGER CARD from Citi
  • Citi Diamond Preferred Card
  • Citi Dividend Card
  • Citi Double Cash (per @BRIVERS73 )

Re: Citi’s Custom Cash card?

Citi doesn't really have anything else I want that bad. My next Citi app will probably be for a card that I intend to PC to another Custom Cash after one year.
