Citizens bank is offering a 1.8% unlimited cash back Mastercard, with 5% unlimited cash back on everything through March 31st. You must apply at a branch for this offer though, so you must reside in the mid-Atlantic or New England region or be willing to travel or will be in the region on travel.
Your cash back is credited to your account the same day of the transaction. For the 3.2% bonus, it is credited in May 2020. Not a bad deal.
Their online version of the card offers a 0% for 15 months. Not sure if it's just a BT or BT and purchases. But I didn't see such an offer for the branch version.
Not a bad card for those who PIF and might not care about BT.
I'm not applying as I don't need another card at this point and my DC is 2%.
My EQ can't handle another HP, thus i will look another way. Their HQ is based out of where I live (well at least alot if not most corporate jobs are, not sure if true headquarters), but no branches.. So weird!
Forst most their CL's are kinda meh, but if ok with a 7k-10k CL then cool. Card maxes out at 25k as well

Their true corporate headquarters are near where I work in the Providence RI financial district.
But yeah they aren't particularly generous with their SLs and you have to wait at least 9 months to be considered for a CLI.
The UI on their online banking site is in pretty serious need of an overhaul.

Yeah, they're big enough to dominate a region but small enough to have an outdated website and conservative practices.
If I were in the market and got it, I could work with a smaller limit. My Propel is only 12K and I don't carry balances unless it's at 0%.

Interesting as their IT appears to be in brentwood, TN or at least some of it as just got a call about a job from them a few days back lol.
From what I read their UW isn't really conservative as seen some questionable scores with very high inquiries and accounts get approved.. Just the limits are kinda meh.

It could be spread out in multiple locations. For a sizable company, IT usually is spread out. Might be cheaper to have some of it in TN, otherwise if all of IT was in New England, it might be a 1.5% card lol.

Could be, but Nashville isn't cheap on IT by any means or a cheap place to live either. I remember UBS moved here to try to save money on salaries from Manatthan and they were suprised when the savings they thought they would save weren't there and they would have to pony up alot more salary than they thought for people. We have a huge shortage of IT people down here and amazon coming in with mid point of 150k and can go much higher and other companies got to match, etc.. well you get the point. Anyways getting off subject.
Be a more popular card probably if not so cheap. Suspect why it hasnt got much traction on this forum.

Yeah, not sure why it hasn't gotten much traction. Like PNC cash rewards card, offering 4% cash back on gas, and 3% on dining, that hasn't gotten traction either. I posted this because 1.8 isn't bad given CFU and QS are 1.5, and depending on your needs, 1.8 isn't terrible if you don't care about a few things.
Regional cards don't get as much traction because so much of the country can't get them. Most of the good regional cards are for the eastern states and completely cut off central and west.
