Re: Combining Limits Within Synchrony

No.

Both accounts are managed by Synchrony, but under different networks (MC vs. Visa) and with different co-branded partners.  They cannot be combined.

They have a strict no combining rule. They wouldn't even let me merge my two sams club store accounts.

Re: Combining Limits Within Synchrony

With Synchrony you can't combine, per se, but if exposure if causing an issue with getting a CLI, you can close (or CLD) another Synchrony card to enable them to give you a CLI .

Before doing that, though, I would try for a CLI first.  If your TU is in good shape and your total exposure is under $100k, you can probably get a CLI without having to bother with closing or CLD another account, anyway.

It would be irresponsible of me if I didn't mention the Synch account freezes, though... if your accounts with them are new (especially if you opened multiple accounts at once) you might want to tread lightly until you have some history.
