So - I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this ... it *seems* that perhaps the Comenity cards that I have (J Crew and Overstock) that I log in with the d.comenity site are on a monthly CLI schedule, while the card that I have that I log in with the c.comenity (VS) is on *at least* a 2 month schedule... has anyone else noticed this??
Thanks!
The only pattern I've noticed, is them always telling me NO!!
OP - it's doubtful the domain and URL have anything to do with a CLI "pattern". While each Comenity partner program may have some similarities with granting CLI requests, it's mostly based on the individual's profile and whether the account is eligible.
+1
My Overstock is on the every 2 months plan, which is opposite of your pattern.
I only have Overstock and for about 8 months I set the calender on my phone for the 15th of every month. On the 14th I got no luv... On the 15th they gave me a $300 or $400 increase. Lately.... I get nothing (well not for awhile. I got $400 yesterday, lol) So yes... To me there is a pattern to OS.
The GF only has VS and that card can't get anything.

Yeah, I really wasn't meaning that the domain, in and of itself, was making a difference - rather, I was wondering if (perhaps) the variance for the domain might have been *tied to* some sort of pattern. Certainly, this is all supposition, based on my personal experience ... was just trying to see if anyone else had experienced this 'pattern' (for lack of a better word). And, of course, with only 3 cards to use as a baseline, I don't have enough personal information to truly draw this conclusion - hence the asking of other's experience.
And, certainly - it would be based on an individual's profile; however, I do have only one profile - yet, have different experiences.. so, account eligibility is the remaining factor - which, again, I was wondering if might be somehow be tied to the varying domains...
Obviously, all just a 'question' ... I just found my personal experience to be interesting and wondered what others had experienced.
Thanks!!!

Well... there goes that theory... lol
I only have one of those cards, the Overstock.
Up until November, I could get a CLi of 400 every month. I was denied in November and I am thinking I will hit the Luv Button again after 61 days from the denial.
I have read that VS is pretty difficult to get a CLI from.
My DW has a Woman Within CC from Comenity and has been denied for a CLI from the Luv button three times. I am encouraging her to try again now that is 7 months from opening the account.
I am in agreement that each of the Comenity CCs has its own 'personality' you have to consider when asking for a CLI, as well as your own credit profile.
