Comenity Questions

I recently was just approved for a Cominty CR Visa card.  I know Cominity is a little old school with some things, but I'm wondering if:

  1. Anyone knows how quick they are at mailing out cards for new accounts?
  2. I received a temperary card number.  I can't register right now for online access.  Do I need to wait until I recieve my card to do this?

Re: Cominty Questions

Of the three Comenity cards I have it took about a week to receive them. I honestly don't remember about online access setup BUT they recently Revamped their www sites and it's been a cluster. There's a thread on here about it.

Did you get this by applying or was it a Shopping cart approval?

Re: Cominty Questions

I applied for this card.  This was my 2nd time applying.  I was declined the first time because my Experian report was frozen, thinking they were only going to use Equifax I only unfroze that.  I was more prepared the 2nd time around and found out they only SP Experian.

A soft pull on a direct application?..... That's gotta be a first. I've never heard of a direct application being a soft pull.... The shopping cart trick is almost every time...
