Comenity reporting weirdness...

I paid off my Express card last month;  it then reported zero.  This month I had no statement as I had no activity.  My statement cut date is around the 18th-21st.  On the 25th, I ordered online and it reported my new balance on the 27th.  What the heck?  Is there any reasoning for this?

Not a huge deal, but so much for strategy!  I wanted to order then PIF.  Smiley Frustrated

Some report mid-cycle as well, if you have ano card from them that closes around this time they may have just done a blanket report for all accounts with them, most likely just the luck of the draw.

That would make sense but i don't.  I have 3 cards with them and they all close the same day.  Just strange.
