@Anonymous wrote:So I joined in the fun as well. For debits, I just reloaded my Amazon balance with 50c transactions (well, sometimes 51c for variety) twice a day for 6 days. The slow updating of the counter was annoying, but now I know I will just count the transactions myself and "know" it will show 12 in time. No issues so far, and I liked that they gave me interest for the last few days of Feb before my debit card had arrived.
Did that work? I tried that when I joined a few years ago, and it didn't. I'd be excited to know this is an options now
I do the same thing - varying between 0.49 and 0.69. Counter updates within a day or 2, and works great! Just make sure after you add your card in Amazon, you go edit it and uncheck the box that says to run as Debit. The icon should change from "DEBIT" to "VISA" - if you don't do that, the transactions won't count.
Ok ... definitely did not uncheck any boxes, thanks for the tip!
Yes, that is the key step (found it by searching!)
I joined this Cu in april 2017. And at first got denied for their cc due to me being self employed and not able to show pay stub , they wudnt accept Bank statements. BUT fast forward to aug 2017 , i got a prequalifed for auto loan email and got approved for 2.49% apr for 72 months and refinanced my toyota loan from 4% to 2.49. And they refinanced at 121% of the vehicle value. They accepted my bankstatements for auto loan, no problem ) . At this time i have about 3000$ in the rewards checking and few days ago i applied for their visa sig cash rebate card and asked for 6500$ . Today they approved me for the full 6500$ without needing any income proof or 3 references which i had to provide for the auto loan. Overall i am very happy with this CU and their customer service.
. I am waiting for my visa signature cash rebate to come in the mail and that will surely replace amex BCE. Im kind of disappointed though that the spending cap for grocery is 6000$ a year
( i thought each month i can throw 1000$ of grocery spending on this card. Oh well i guess i can either earn 4.59 or 3.59 % on my savings depending on how much i spend using the card. I also love the fact that they dont have cash advance or balance transfer fee
) definitely will make use of their 1.99% offer. I am enjoying being a member of this Cu
If anyone is good with graphics, could you screenshot part of the balances/transactions page (block/blur out the sensitive parts) and maybe the bill pay?
I can't find in their site where they have any demo of the online banking, just their mobile app. (I do not use mobile apps for banks, I'm too paranoid in case my phone is ever lost/stolen. o.o)
Their products certainly look wonderful, it's just how their usability is...

Not a good time to ask! Their site is down for some system conversion from 1st-4th. It's certainly not very exciting, with a fairly old-fashioned feel and in some cases too many clicks are needed, but it is functional

Sorry for the delay - CCU underwent a system conversion last weekend, so they were down for a bit! Their website is a little archaic, but useable. Here are some screenshots:
One thing I forgot to highlight in this screenshot is that the credit card info is also missing after the system conversion. Normally it does show the balance, avail, due date, etc. They underwrite the cards, but they're managed by PSCU, so you'll actually link to another site to view that info. One interesting quirk is that your due date turns red on the due date until the next statement cuts regardless if you've paid the bill or not. That freaked me out a little the first time it happened.
The interest rate resets every month to 0.01% until you meet your requirements.
The ability to do external transfers doesn't appear until you meet the bonus requirements for at least a month.
Thankfully they switched to the standard Fiserv billpay. The old system was painful.

Their customer service has been a BIG pain to deal with this morning. None of the member service representatives have any clue or authority to discuss autoloan auto pay. I dont have any info on checking the details on autopay set up when i login ( only employees store that information it seems) and the representative who was supposed to set it up , set it up wrongly even though we exchanged emails with precise details last month. Now im exchanging emails with her about how disappointed i am regarding this 'wrong auto payment set up' coz this so far appears to be the only effective form of communication. Today i am very disappointed at their customer service. If she doesnt fix it today tomorrow i will call and ask for some supervisor who has authority over these issues.

Hmm.... can't you set up an autopay under transfers? If you go to transfers, you should be able to select FROM checking TO loan, set the amount, and under scheduling, select recurring and set the frequency to monthly. Was that not how they originally set it up?

@heyryan i wish it was that easy. This person who i communicated with while i was refinancing my auto loan told me ( this was her exact wording) that i would get .50% discount if i agree for auto payment option , so i said yes and i emailed her my external bank ( not ccu checking) routing and account number because she asked for it and said she will set it up for the 12th of every month with due date being the 25th. That was it and i didnt hear anything back from her so i assumed it was taken care of.
Today out of curiosity i was trying to see online if i can access "auto pay" details under my car loan or anywhere else on the website but i couldnt find so i called . The two representative had no clue and could not see any auto payment set up either. So i called this person whom i had emailed during my refinance to find out details. Her phone goes to voice mail . So i decided email her. To my utter surprise she says the payment will debit on 25th ,the due date. I asked her ,dont the bank need processing time ?, why on 25th and not on 12th as we discussed. She replies since its being taken from your CCU checking account there is no time delay. ! At this point i lost my cool.
I wrote an email telling her how disappointed i am in her paying NO attention my earlier emails and setting up auto payment wrongly. I told her to correct it and send me some paper proof and i again gave her routing and account number of my non ccu bank and told her to debit on 12th of every month. Then after half an hour as i was contemplating talking to some senior authority or supervisor , i received an email about esigning ach athorization form . So basically this is direct debit not auto payment as she had phrased it before. I made sure that they will auto debit from my NON CCU bank on 12th and signed it. if i had not callled and followed up on this she would had it set up to debit from my CCU checking on due date.Talk about incompetence .
No apology email for screwing up either. From now i will deal with someone else at CCU regarding my autoloan . Its always good keep some supervisor's number handy. I find her act very unprofessional.
But i am glad finally i have the documentation that details out the auto debit as i wanted. Btw i got call back from other member service representatives who were willing to help me and gave clear answers about the direct debit. Apparently since i signed the form authorizing for them to debit on 12th i dont have to set up anything online. They will take care of it ( as per the document) .
