What is wrong with this company?!?!!
I've had their CC for about 11 months now. I keep the balance low and pay early 3x the minimum payment every month. Never late.
I got an email saying I pre-qualify for a CLI. I applied and was denied. The reason was they don't have updated income info on file. I updated and applied again for CLI. Was denied the second time saying I haven't been a customer for 1 year yet!! The denial email invited me to apply for another one of their CCs instead. So I did. (Stupid I know).... They DENIED me again!!! The reason was that I already have a CC with them!!
THEN I get a credit alert from TU. Hard pull from Credit One Bank!!!
Now today I got an email saying I need to update my income information because I'm eligible for a CLI but they don't have income on file. I signed in to my account and it clearly says my income info was updated April 22, 2017.
Omg I swear I am going to lose my *#$% with this company. What is WRONG with them?!!
Also, don't forget that a lot of time this is just marketing material.
Yep, their customer service and predatory lending are why almost everyone on here say BEWARE OF CREDIT ONE!!!!

Thank you everybody!! My only known FICO8 is with TU at 603. VS3.0 scores are all roughly around 595.
I have the capital one quicksilver $1500 limit and Platinum $1000 limit.
I don't need credit one anymore! So I should just pay off and close?? Thank you!!!
Good on you for moving up to Capital One! Is the Platinum the unsecured or secured version? If it's secured, and you opened it recently (as in the last year or so), there's a chance you could get it graduated to unsecured. Basically, like others have said, take care of those two cards and let them "grow up" and by this time next year you should have at least one or two even better cards.
And yes, shake the dust of Credit One off your feet just as soon as you can. Pay 'em off and tell 'em, "thank you very much, your services are no longer required". They'll raise a ruckus and try to get you to stay, but don't yield.
Every time a Credit One or First Premiere (or other subprime predatory bottom feeder) is closed, an angel gets its wings...

This is not true. Every time a Credit One or First Premier is closed, a devil loses it's pitchfork.
i would close my credit one card as well, but its 8 months old. discover secured is 2 months and navy is brand new.
so without them i have no major credit card history. i do have overstock for 14 months too
Well I for one will say I have never had an issue with them these past 6 months. Which reminds me I need to go and purchase a pack of gum.
I'm keeping them for another 5 months because I already paid the stupid AF, so I want to get my monies worth, or so I tell myself.
However during the 6 months I've had them, I have had zero issues, 1 $100 CLI... So I'm one of the lucky ones!
I am dreading calling them in 6 months to cancel the card though.
YES FOR REALS The denials are true. You think they are joking? Credit card companies do not lie when they deny people. Some rare cases when a Credit Card Company denies someone, they will approve like 2 weeks later and surprise the aplicant with plastic in the mail. Credit One usually never lies. Why do u even bother with them?

Funny thing, that actually happened to me back in 2002. I went to apply for a Best Buy store card to buy a new dishwasher, and got denied at the store...then a week or two later, out of the blue, that very card turned up in the mail and I was able to get my dishwasher the next day!
I have a code you can use to get an instant $1500 CLI with them if you want it.
