I'm not really fond of BOFA, more of a CU girl myself and those glamour cards like Amex and Discover!!!  But seriously, I only have personal grudges against BOFA so I wouldn't be the best judge.

yes you can convert milesSmiley Wink annual fee is kinda high $75 a year but you can also convert the card at anytime to a no annual fee card

Discover card is a great card they have a student card also great great card
 
only down side is not too many people take discover but thats not going to stop me no waySmiley Happy

Personally I would rather have a visa. Which card would be better...The Bank of America Visa Signature Card or the Chase Freedom Visa Signature???

LOL!!  Me either.  Bit going from nothing but a subprime HSBC, Discover was a milestone.  Done app'ing for quite some time.  Besides I have a wallet full of Visa and MCs.
 
I think CU Visas are the best not sure if they have student cards though.
